  The folk festival has been taking place annually at the Banani Army Stadium since 2015 The three-day festival, celebrating South Asian folk music, has been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. Dhaka International Folk Festival (DIFF), organized by Square Toiletries Limited and Sun Foundation, will not take place this year. Despite taking all the necessary precautions and arrangements, the organizers decided to cancel this year’s edition to minimize risk of spreading Covid-19.

  The two-day mega exposition will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in between November 8 and 9, Dhaka to display the latest trend of denim products to the global brands and retailers as well as Bangladeshi manufacturers. A total of 62 exhibitors from all over the world are participating in the Expo, which is expected to attract the highest number of international visitors in an apparel event in Bangladesh.   The concert is jointly organized by Young Bangla and center for Research and Information (CRI). This event takes place to remember the famous speech of the Father of the Nation – Bangabandhu Sheikh Majibur Rahman. To awaken the spirit of youth and to feel the liberation war and own country, the local bands perform numerous patriotic songs. Interestingly, this fair has always a huge attendance record although only youngsters tend to attend this event every year.
